How Does Activist Poetry Cope with Ambiguity? - Writing Poetry with John Kinsella
Location: Ro Auditorium, Ro Theatre
‘How does activist poetry cope with ambiguity?’ John Kinsella is one of the small number of poets who manage convincingly to combine a critical and activist perspective with the ambiguity and multiple meanings of good poetry. In his poetry, he seeks an active form of protest, proceeding from linguistic disobedience. Kinsella [Australia, 1963] has a long record of service as a poet and teacher, he is thus more than welcome to share his experience, passion and knowledge with us. Presenter: Jan Baeke.
