Virtual Reality - C.a.p.e. Drop_Dog (20 min sessions --- programme in Dutch)
Location: Schouwburg Foyer, Rotterdamse Schouwburg
High-end technology immerses you in a different world and puts you right at the centre of the 360°-filmed surroundings of two short stories: Drop and Dog. Using video glasses, trackers and headphones, you are not only able to move around in that filmed image, but actually experience what you are reading ‘for real’. The combination of watching, reading, listening and moving has an impact on your reading experience: you feel what you read in the ‘here and now’. Put on virtual reality glasses and experience Tonnus Oosterhoff’s texts in the third dimension! Ideal for technofreaks with poetic souls. A virtual performance created by the Brussels CREW collective.
C.a.p.e. Drop_Dog was commissioned for development by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and the Creative Industries Fund NL.
Sponsors: Dutch Foundation for Literature, Creative Industries Fund NL, Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Flemish government.
