Anne Kawala(France, 1980)
Poetry by Anne Kawala [France, 1980] comes in many forms. Kawala uses iconographic and typographical elements in her poems. This makes her poetry not just textual; many of her poems are visual works as well. Her texts cannot always be read in a linear manner; they also include many repetitions and various occasionally puzzling references, which by association give them their many-voiced meaning. Kawala studied at the Lyon academy of fine arts and debuted as a poet in 2008 with her collection F.aire L.a F.eui||e (f.l.f).
